Willapa River Farms Naturally Grown Garlic Bulb Seed
We are a 5th generation family farm located outside of Raymond Washington, we border the Willapa river and for millions of years has left rich deposits of topsoil for us to utilize. We practice natural and sustainable farming, using only natural fertilizers and no chemicals. Garlic bulb seeds available this fall are Music, Spanish Roja and Suzanville and garlic scapes from Spanish Roja and Music available beginning June.
Here we are spreading worm castings over row before planting garlic, all natural, no synthetic fertilizer or chemicals used in are operation.
Worm castings are an organic form of fertilizer produced from earthworms. Also known as vermicast, worm castings manure is earthworm waste. As the worms eat through compost, their waste creates a soil enricher. Worm castings improve soil aeration and drainage, as well as increase water retention.
We use a lot of this black gold on our farm.
